I had the honor of photographing the daughter of a wonderful makeup artist who I have come to know, and who did all the gorgeous makeup for my wedding and engagement photos! Amanda is the owner of Rebel Face Makeup.

Amanda's daughter, Maddie is a dancer at The School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. When i found this out, I pitched the idea of a creative shoot in an urban setting...something I have always wanted to do, but never had the right situation. A few months later, Amanda contacted me and we set up a time to go explore the underground tunnels and rooms of Christian Moerlein in OTR! 

My goal for 2015 was to really push myself to master my natural light photography, and brand myself and LPhotography. I have come to love natural light shooting, and prefer not to shoot with a flash when possible, but this was an opportunity I could not pass up! I was a bit outside my comfort zone with the dark, old lighting throughout the historic building, but we were able to have a LOT of fun with it!
